is it possible to use filters with mame like 2x , 4x, 2xsai ,etc.. like other emulators?

if so what frontend mame wrapper do i need?

i currently use mameui with hyperspin and they call the effects but they are only scanline filters?

thx,
magostin

there were different versions of mame that did things like this but I think they all stopped updating after mame made some changes. I think advancemame was one. I don't know of any current solutions that work, I would like those features myself.

Magostin,
There are plenty of video options to play with in MAME.
Check out the MAME page on the EasyEmu site, hosted on Mameworld.net:

http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/mameguidenew/mameguide.html

From there, find the "Configuration" heading, then click "MAME Command Line Options".
Scroll down and find "Windows Video Options".
Here you will find explanations of all the general MAME video options.
Below that you will find more:
DirectDraw Specific Options
Direct3D Specific Options
Per-Window Video Options
Full Screen Options

I'd hope you would be able to achieve the effect you want with some combination of these options. Experiment.
