Will a 2nd mouse be recognized by mame?

does anyone know if i can hook up a second mouse to my mame-system?
Will a 2nd mouse be recognized by mame?

It should... I technically have 4 connected to my cabinet. 1 trackball, 2 lightguns and 1 spinner. All are mouse inputs.

you have to turn on option - use multiple mouse, and/or use multiple lightgun, depends what you want to do with the mouse

otherwise all mouses act as one big mouse :)

where do i find this "multiple mouse"-option, blur? there just is "mouse = 1" in my mame.ini

in a different location in the mame.ini there should be options for multimouse and multikeyboard. Make sure multimouse says "1"
