Hi, everybody! First of all, sorry for my bad english. After two months of install HyperSpin in my cabinet (I'm very happy with the decission :D), I'm trying to create some themes for Mame games. The first in my list is Ken-Go

Good start, zocato. Definitely add a new title and try to find a better background. The character looks like he has some jagged edges. Click here (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=281) to see some great tutorials about cutting out images.

Would suggest the video slightly bigger so it is just going behind the character and making the logo less of a focal point, perhaps more in upper left hand corner. Yes, nice start indeed and welcome!

Hi again, I made some changues to the theme. The background is more dark, put the video left-up, and I used the shadowed logo of Babymaggie in the wheel too (Many thanks for that).

Nice improvements - definitely going in the right direction. The character's edges look cleaner, but there is still a small white line around it. You should be able to remove it with a 1 or 2 pixel inside stroke.

2 pixel inner black stroke will fix that on this artwork.

This is coming along sweet! That new background seems to fit very nicely.

I'm inspired by the scroll with the Irem logo and think that if you could find a bigger higher res. scroll and sit it behind the video as a video overlay it might be wicked!

Hi zocato - In the theme editor Click the video overlay button then image and browse to the scroll file.

Make sure that the below video is ticked and then play around with the x and y offset to get it just right.

I think having the 2 scrolls maybe too much, and the irem logo is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Maybe try removing the scroll from the irem logo, and just move the logo itself to the top right corner and see how that looks. Cheers.

The scroll added a ton, revise with the logo suggestions using Rondar's logo and you should be ready to upload for approval.

Excellent result.

To be perfect, for my personal taste, the logos have to be a bit bigger.
Also, i can still see some white unwanted outline around some arts. But it's quite unnoticeable.
At lats, I would change a bit the background : it seems that the character is in the sky.

You should maybe simply make a quick mountain shape using the pen tool (in black), behind the character art. You see what I mean ?
Or just simply raise up the existing mountain black shapes to the half of the screen or something.
