Hey everybody,

I understood that some of you have been missing me around here for a while and were wondering where the hell I went.

Well, I have been busy.. Not so much with HyperHQ development though, but more with running around with diapers and stuff.. :-)

On the 3rd of July my wife gave birth to our beautiful daughter and things have been very hectic around here.

So that's really the reason why I haven't been active around these parts.

HyperHQ development IS still going on. I have no plans whatsoever to abandon it or HyperSpin. Things are just a bit on the lowdown for me at the moment.

I understood that there's an important version of HS coming up soon. I'll see what I can do, (or what needs to be done) to make HQ work with that version as it should, and get that version out to you folks so that it can be used again.

cool man, I happy to hear everything went good with the birth, last we heard she was almost on the way.

Anyways theres not much new as far as changes in HS that affect HQ at all, someone found that HQ doesnt output discs of tron(dotron) which could possibly mean other games dont make it in, and i think everything else is fine except i think people would like to see list generation stuff for consoles and main settings adjustments. Nothing is a rush really.

Sleep? Hmmm.. Sounds somewhat familiar.. I think I might've gotten some of that in the past.. Isn't that when people lay down on a bed when it gets dark outside, close their eyes and don't get disturbed every 30 minutes? Yea? In that case, no, I didn't get any of it lately.. :D

Things went great.. It's just the time afterwards.. LOL.. :-) I always knew that baby's take a lot away from your time, but I never expected it to be this much.. Everything is good though.. One look at that little face and the rest doesn't really matter much any more..

HQ not outputting DoT.. Hmm.. That's odd.. I will surely look into that.. See what's causing that behaviour, as indeed, like you said, it could very much also cause other games from being excluded from the list(s)..

List Generation for other consoles is not something I already started on.. It's still in the pipeline though.. Will most likely come up next..

Main settings adjustments is as good as done.. I think that actually works on my version of HS over here.. Will have to download the latest build and see if it still works as it should.. If not, make minor changes, recompile and get that version out to you beta testers..

Great to see things are going it's way over here.. Love the new forum..

If you still have ftp access then the logos are there, your HQ logo is pretty cool, If you dont have access then I'll restart your account. If you need it edited then I can resize a jpg or png or whatever to any specs you need incase you want to include a splash screen or the logo somewhere in the program.

I used to have FTP access, but that account doesn't seem to be working any longer.. I thought you kicked off FTP access earlier because downloads were going through the website itself.. Resizing is no problem whatsoever though.. I can stand my own in Photoshop.. Not a wizard here, but a resize should give me no issues.. ;-)

Thanks billpa.. Are those the biggest you have them? For the little icon it's okay, I need to downsize it anyway, but for the 2 normal logo's I could use a higher resolution version so I can make some nifty splash screen or something.. :-)

Just grabbed the HQ .ai files from the FTP server and wow.. Hi-res these look even better.. Thanks again billpa.. I'll be sure to put them to good use..

congrats(a little late) we had a baby girl last year on august 1st so I personally understand the time and energy they require. So great though, she is just beginning to walk on her own now and is in to everything.
