All the game titles with "&" connecting them such as "North & South" show up as North & South. Im not sure why they are all named that way. butits that way for all systems.
Any info as to why? Fix?
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly why it does this, something with the coding I'm sure. If you want to fix this just edit with notepad and select Edit>Replace.
Then Replace all & with &
Because some special characters are not valid in xml structure. They should stay as &
It will still appear fine in HS.

There are some XML's from hyperlist that have some games listed with '&'. This then shows up as & in Hyperspin. I changed both & and & to just be &, everything is working fine.

If you edit them out the XML will not work in HyperSync anymore. (dont edit them out)

Ok, well are they supposed to appear with the & in Hyperspin or is that supposed to be just for the xml doc? Cause that's how they appear while i am in Hyperspin.
Just wondering, thanks.

That explains why I couldn't use HyperSync with my edited XML's.
But there is still the issue of some XML's having & which shows & in hyperspin

That's due to a bug. You could fix it by running Replace All "amp;" with nothing twice, then replace all & with "&".

dont forget to do apostrophes too:
' = '

Please let us know what xml's have double & so we can fix them
