Hi guys,

ok, i recently aquired sega model 2 roms and 3 emulators for them.

i am getting very different results with all three emulators:

#1 nebula 2.25b
- this emu only uses a group of the roms (good dumps), so it doesnt work with the full list of games

#2 model 2 emu v.04
-this emu uses the full game gamelist

#3 model 2 emu v.08a
-this emu is the newset version of above one and uses the full game list

ok so my experience with these three over the last few days is:

#1 nebula 2.25b - the games runs super fast and this emu i believe is the one to use for the game list is uses(which is probably half of the sega model 2 roms[but no daytona])

#2 v.04 - all roms work but are slow

#3 v.08a - only some roms work (many say missing files) and are slow.

nebula 2.25b does not work with hyperspin, but the other 2 do.

so i was wondering wich one do you guys use? and how's your performance?

im very new to sega model 2 and would like to know more about it.

and i was wondering if we can get nebula 2.25b to work with hyperspin.
- heard sega model 2 v9 is comming, but i doubt it will perform like nebula 2.25b for the good dump games.

thx, magostin

I use Model 2 Emulator v.08a and all of the games seem to work fine at very good speeds. All games are playable. The only issue I have is calibrating the controls for one of the games.

is it posible then that i am using the wrong roms, and nebula uses the the roms that i have?

how can i identify the roms i have as being mame or sega model 2?

thx,
magostin

Yes,

You need to hit f2 (i think!) and go into the game config once the game is launched. Once in there, under the options menu there's an option to set it to single board. Fix this and you wont have that error.

Worked! The option "Link ID" set it to Single!
