Awesome idea with using xbox360 arcade joysticks!! How do you have them connected to the PC and the xbox at the same time? Also what size is your LCD?

Interesting, I see the kvm switch. I really like simple colors, with the edges gives it a nice crisp look. Cant wait to see some artwork slapped on.

I used a KVM to switch back and forth from xbox to PC. It works good. I have a hdmi switch to switch the video. The screen is 24 inch.

How did you get the wood so shiny on the top of the control panel, the black portion?

The whole control panel is bonded with sheets of formica. I could of used just regular high gloss mdf but this is much more durable.

I'm finally done my arcade cabinet. It's been over a year process but it was worth it.
I updated the pictures in the first post.

Did you leave the cabinet open from behind to avoid the death xbox 360 ring? XD
Have you got extra fans down there to prevent heat problems?
I love the cabinet with tiny keyboards in hidden trays.
Great Job !!!

Yeah also because the piece on the back was in rough shape so I just ripped it out. The PC has 3 fans so im not worried about that. I dont have any extra fans on the 360 but I should because it gets hot.

Robcat,
How do you have the controllers set up to both the PC and the Xbox? I am interested in this idea.

I use a KVM to switch the controllers and sound back and forth from PC to Xbox. You can use it to switch the video aswell if you like but the one I have is VGA and I connected the PC and 360 to HDMI. I plan on getting a HDMI KVM one day but ther a little pricey. Instead I just connected the Hdmis to a switch and it atomatically switches the screen back and forth.
I bought 360 arcade sticks because at the time they didnt have a 360 board to wire the controlls myself. The only way was to hack a 360 controller which I really didnt want to get into. They now make boards that are 360 compatible and are far cheaper then buying the arcade sticks that I bought. They even have boards that can do 360 and PS3.

What KVM switch did you use for the controllers? Most I see are only for keyboards

You need one with usb. one for the mouse and one for the keyboard. Instead of plugging in a mouse and keyboard just plug in the two controllers.
