Hi Guys, just signed up yesterday after stumbling across a youtube video with Hyperspin being used.

Downloaded the huge file you have linked here and sat last night putting it all on the machine. Was just using the basic Mame program for my game listing before, and while it works, it doesn't give you that buzz visually. First impressions when it loaded was astounded. Absolutely amazing work, you should all be very proud with what you have created.

A couple of questions. At the moment I am just using a hacked Xbox controller until I get my happ bits n bobs to build a custom one. This works fine with all the Mame games but, is there a way to set this up to scroll through the listings or it something that has to be done using a keyboard? Also, with an Ipac would that allow me to assign buttons in place of keyboard for scrolling, Escape etc or it the same scenario?

Love all the artwork that is included for the Themes. Is there anywhere you could recommend for images that I can create my own for more games? I'm sure Google will do all but, wondered incase there was an acrade fan site of some sort that could be a one stop shop.

Keep up the good work :burnout:

Controller support is coming in the next version... You will be able to use joysticks, such as the hacked Xbox control, spinner and trackball. An I-Pac works just like a keyboard and allows you to program your buttons all to key-presses and allows you to use whatever keys you want.

As far as artwork goes, check out out Wiki linked at the very top of this page. On the Resources page there are many links to excellent artwork sites.

Hi Dazz, thanks for the reply. I see, so the Ipac would be useful now but, maybe not essential when the new version arrives. Is there a rough idea of how long that may be?

Thanks for that, I didn't notice it. Was too busy reading and scrolling through all the great stuff on Hyperspin :)

I-PAC's are WONDERFUL... I see them as always being useful to arcade cabinet enthusiasts like us. I don't think I would have ever been able to function properly without my I-PAC.
