Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to include an animation before the Hyperspin application ends in the next release of Hyperspin? The animation I mean is having the wheel and theme slide away to black with the 'whoosh' sound like it does when you go from a system's menu (MAME, SNES, etc.) back to the main menu. I think it would give the system a nice feel when closing down instead of an abrupt ending of the process being closed.

I hope you can help with this and I look forward to the new Hyperspin.

I was thinking about this the other day and had a cool idea. My idea was to hijack the exit app feature of HS with a standalone SWF in an exe container.

The SWF would be a continue screen '9...8...etc...' and if you press 'start' or 'coin' or whatever before the countdown ends then it re-launches HS, if the ends, then your computer does whatever it regularly does when you exit HS (shutdown, nothing, whatever)

that would be a nice addition, especially for peep that have a particular theme to their cab, if you were able to swap out the .swf it was using, peep could make their own custom shutdown vid to match the theme of their cab maybe.

Hi SophT, is it possible to use the method you describe for implementing this feature at the moment, or does it require handling of the actual code of Hyperspin itself?

If it is the latter, are you able to help put in a good word of this feature to BBB for the next release? :listen:

Anyhoo, fingers crossed :)
