Hey guys,
Just wondering what people are running in their standard arcade cabs. I have seen a couple of lists on here and the one on BYOAC. But most aren't suitable when I finally track them down! I liked games like Bionic Commando Rearmed but they don't go down to 480 :( Same with Blazblue. I have a Windy II and the Pentranic monitor in it will crap out with anything above 480!
I'm after a selection of games that can be used with joysticks (6 buttons). That don't need a mouse, menus that can be navigated with joysticks.
And also that can go to as low a resolution as 640x480 and no more! Anyone got any must have ones!?
The ones I currently have are as follows. If anyone has or knows of missing FLV's or themes that would be great. I'm gonna try and use the theme creator but I am a pathetic artist, especially on a computer!
Armagetron {No FLV or Theme}
Another World (anniversary edition) {FLV but no theme}
SF4 {Themed with FLV}
Shank {Themed with FLV}
Metal Gear Solid {Themed with FLV}
Xenon 2000 {No FLV or Theme}

Raiden III
Geometry Wars
Soldner X
Platypus
Platypus II
Metal Slug PC Collection
Melty Blood Act Candenza ver B
PC games that I'm not sure about the resolution (I only use my joystick and buttons, though I have eight. . . only really need eight for SF4 and Transformers):
Virtua Tennis 2009/ Virtua Tennis 3
Beat Hazard
Transformers War for Cybertron
Rocket Knight
Nation Red
Dead Rising 2
Crazy Taxi 3
Out Run 2006
Sonic All Star Racing
Gun Games:
House of the Dead
House of the Dead 2
House of the Dead 3
Hope that helps, I have .FLV's for everything I just mentioned and about 90% have themes.

Thanks, I had forgotten about Raiden, I will get that for sure. Metal Slug collection is good apart from the later one which is 800x600. I'll have a look at the others :)
I did a bunch of pc game themes (not all released yet) There's got to be some among them.

If the game resolution is above 640x480, you can use PowerStrip or other app to set it to interlaced, so the resolution will not matter.

All my PC games themes are yours :) Thankyou for doing them, I am useless and don't have an artisitic bone in my body! Keep up your good work! I'll have to remember to grab your wheel art as well!

I'm going to be using soft 15khz when I get to the going in the cab stage, It is possible to remove resolutions. I could then add them in the custom31khz.txt as interlaced I guess. Looked a bit naff on my 15khz monitor did the interlacing!

Thanks, I was making my way down that list but a lot need mouse/other input methods! Even if the game doesn't the menu's to get to the game often do. Ok for people with homemade shelves hiding keyboards but not for those with little candy cabs :(

If the only thing that needs a mouse is the menu, I bet you could get creative with AHK and automatically get the game going without any user input.

Hee, yeah probably true but the game is likely not worth the headache, I will never play over 50% that is on the machine anyway lol.
