Is there a way to run CP Wiz from within HS? I'd like to be able to scroll thru the gamelist, stop on a particular game and press a designated "info" button on the control panel and launch CP Wiz to view game history, cab pictures, cp pictures, flyers, etc. Thanks!

Ask head kaze about it, it's his program and I believe he is a member here.
I use it with another front end but have not tested it with HS yet. It would be cool to use though for people who like those extras you mentioned as I don't think there are plans to add that stuff to HS.

Holy cow, that's an excellent idea. If I understand correctly, doesn't CPWiz load into resident memory? I'll have to experiment with this, but I'd love it if it would work. For example, I'd love to be able to press a button and out pops a pic of MY Arcade cab Control Panel, but with only the proper buttons hightlighted used for the game in question.

Cpwizard will work with other FE's and it waits for the MAME process to run before it comes active. It always rund in the taskbar.
Hyperspin setting.ini has a launch before where you can tell it to launch cpwizard.

Yep, that's exactly how it works. It works great with HS and MAME (I haven't tried it with consoles yet), but it works when you're already in the game and you pause it. What I'd like to do is be able to run it as an external app via command line while the HS theme for a particular game is displayed. I have a vertical cab running Mala and it works great that way, but Mala is able to launch an external app upon a defineable keypress, and as far as I can tell, HS cannot.

BBB, that would be a nice addition to HS.

I also think this would be a great feature. Are there any plans to implement this?
Heck yes... that sounds like a most excellent addition. CP Wiz is a great application and I think this kind of usage might be pretty cool to have.
