I wanted to ask a question but that it's finally turned into trick that I wanted to share.

I seek to close windows xp together hyperspin is an option found on most front-end for MAMEcab.

To do just edit the file 'settings.ini "like this:

[Exit Program]
Executable = shutdown.exe
Paramaters =-s-t 0
Working_Directory = C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \
WinStations = true

Maybe my idea was known to all of you, but I thought it was good to share. :burnout: :flute:

Thanks for sharing, the option will be in on the next release so you dont have to do it that way if you dont want, will just be a checkbox in the HQ.

Just my quick 2 cents, I think this is a very good feature as well, but as BBB and I discussed in HyperChat a few weeks back, be careful with this option. Once you turn it on, make sure you know how to get around it, in case you want to do admin work or updates on that PC. Ctrl-Alt-Delete comes to mind, or maybe hitting the Windows key on a keyboard - don't know if that would pop up in front of HyperSpin or if it would remain hidden? If you have at least one other windowed program running in the background, then I suppose Alt-TAB would get you out. Just a few thoughts.

Yep Speedy, that's another option.
But all the options thus far have one thing in common: they require the use of a keyboard. Some MAME Cab guys (myself included) do not keep a keyboard hooked up to their machine.
This is of course not a big deal, you just hook one up when needed.
(And if you're slick, you can still use some of these options with just a control panel. :))
