I use an x-arcade stick , and i got a bit fed up of trying to remember all the different controls for each game . so i thought an easy soluction is to put the controls on the frontend b4 each game .edited an x-arcade pic i found .good idea ? may make the game fronts look a bit more boring but saves me brain :) i can writekick punch fire etc on the buttons for each game not done yet

Well...its kinda pointless unless it shows what buttons to use. I' use cpviewer will soon enough be supported.
If you've never used it, its exactly what you're looking for
CP Wizard is by far a much better program than CPViewer.

i was going to edit the x arcade image for each game and write a letter on the buttons 4 each game , k = kick p = punch etc . how does this other program work ?

It's a good program. I had it set up for when you go to launch your MAME game, the control panel pops up beforehand and shows what each button does. There's also ways to pull up moves for each character during the games as well. really cool program
