Maybe sometime in the future Azroo can write a plug in for this FE. Having plugin support will allow Hyperspin FE menu buttons light up, flash, etc.

I'm waiting in the wings here to add LEDBlinky support to HS! A plugin system would be great - but that could be a major effort for the HS devs. All HS really needs to run LEDBlinky is the ability to run an external app (with rom/emu parameters) pre and post emulator launch. And for just MAME, you can currently use LEDBlinky with HS.

Yes. I would love to see ledblinky added and a good and seamless jukebox (i think the jukebox side of things is already being worked on).

I Currently just run the LEDWIZ config folder in the background to get the effect that I want. Currently looking into the idea of mapping out your buttons and then creating a wave type file that will do a complete ( all LEDWIZ control boards working together ) to create a theme in itself.

So you could get a wave, rainbow, up, down, effect from all the LED's on your control board to act as one.

I know it's possable... Just going to take some effort. Also know that some coding doesn't play well with other programs... for my setup, might add another PC just to control the LED's and the cab effects.

I created a jukebox addon already.
Look in the downloads section for it.

Isn't that a bit much? I mean I have seen this work ok with other FE's so why would HyperSpin be any different in the end.

Well the Config file I got from Mameroom allows you to make a program that changes the buttons colors when that button is pushed in, the problem is, that is lags out the game, even when just running in straight mame...

So Either dedicate the ledblinky to one core and mame to another.... Or just use a extra PC I have lying around to just handle LEDBlinky...

What are the specs on your current PC?

Current specs are 3.2 Duel core, 4 gig ddr2 ram.... Shouldnt be a problem.. I mean it even lags out in mame games, like pacman ect... think its a programing error

Has this been added?

I see the option in HyperHQ, but it doesn't seem to work for me for some reason.
This is a completely new install, so I may have screwed something up. I can confirm with LEDBlinky that all my LED's work. The MAME mapping or something else may be incorrect though.

I used Mala in the past and my LED's lit up all the buttons that were used for each game. It was a great way to start learning how to play a game you have never tried before.

Man, I'm having a hard time trying to get LED blinky to work with MAME or Hyperspin.
I can get the lights to work in the LED software but I just can't seem to integrate it into anything.
I would post an error log but I can't seem to genrate one.
If I take screenshots of my configuration settings do you guys think you could help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Got it working.
It was the backslash issue.
Found the thread I was looking for here.
