Actually looking for names or hints since I can't remember the names of either one.
First one was (pretty sure) Japanese top-down shooter in some sort of armored vehicle with upgrades that were these orbiting orbs. Only other thing I remember is that one of the level bosses was at the dam. Game had almost the same style as Valkyrie no Densetsu (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHvPSfotlhM&hd=1). Weapons were pretty animated like that. Last time I played it was around 1996 so it had to be before that, possibly from late 1980's.
Other one was top-down shooter as well and closest style I can think is something like Xevious but it was much newer. I'd say mid to late 1980's. Believe around same time Xain'd Sleena came out. Main object of the game was to 'collect' these little blue men that were hiding in bunkers and you would bust out the bunker with a ground missile and hover over them to pick them up. At the end of the level you drop them off and get points for each. Much like Choplifter.
Any insight or hints would be awesome, especially for the first game since I never got to finish it so I've been itching for a long time
Thanks :)
