Hey guys
As you probably know i have a portable Hyperspin setup with relative paths and it works great. Since i see lots of horizontal themes on the horizon especially when HS 2.0 comes out I want to move my videos out of the media folder.
This way i can make a settings and media folder for vertical setup. and another settings and media folder for horizontal. Videos all staying the same rather not duplicate 80+gigs of videos.
So as a test i created folder called Video with two sets of videos that look like this.
H:\Hyperspin\Video\Main Menu
H:\Hyperspin\Video\Sega Genesis
I edit the video paths in each of there ini files in the settings folder to something like.
.\video\main menu
etc
I have tried all possible combinations i can think of with .\ and ..\ i get no videos showing up in Hyperspin.
Is this a bug? Can it be fixed? Would it be possible to fix in HS 2.0?
I noticed when i had the correct path with ./ the video border frame would not show up. When i had an incorrect path the video border showed up to say no preview available.
