I don't know if this is needed but I managed with a little tweaking to get scripts written ("with a little help from my friends") for about 40 systems thus far! Is there somewhere I can upload these, or do I just monitor request?

Our official scripts are going to be incorporated into HyperList/HyperBase.

That sounds like the best route to take! From what I have gathered it would seem that the next HyperSpin is going to "knock our socks off." Very, very nice - cannot wait to take a look at her! Luckily I have about four months until my neices birthday, so I have a lot of time on my hands to get the software running just right! Thanks guys!

Rain,

I would love to check out your scripts. Are they available online? can you post them here?

I think it would be very helpful to have a page on the site dedicated hyperlaunch scripts.

On the page you could sort by emulator and/or console and summon up any hyperlaunch script you might want.

We have a "HyperList" how about a "HyperScript"?

Ex. I want to build the Nintendo Virtual Boy into my arcade cabinet. Normally I would have to scan through the forum till I stumble upon some unofficial script looking suggestion of what to use. Thanks to HyperScript I simply sort by Virtual Boy Console and now I can choose between scripts for the Red Dragon emulator or Reality Boy emulator. Simple, quick, effective.

This section could also host suggestions for how to setup your emulators/programs.

Ex. ZSNES will not save my games because the Hyperlaunch exit button kills ZSNES before it can save your game. The portion of HyperScript that hosts this script would suggest that you edit the settings of ZSNES to exit with a single button press from inside the emulator, and it would explain how to do it.

Actually I am in the process of putting the final touches on my catalouge website and upload massive amounts of data (about 12TB) to my webserver. These files are not from this site or emumovies but rather a series of movies, scripts, manuals and other assorted files that I have been collecting and writing over the past two years.

From what Dazz says the "official" scripts will be built in to HyperSpin 2.0 - and while I love HyperSpin a lot (and plan to donate tomorrow night for all of their hard work), I hope that "official" scripts will not be all we will be able to use.

The scripts that are currently available are very good, but also very limited. I am aware that the HyperSpin development team have their hands full writing the actual hard code, (and it is great) but the majority of fun for me comes in getting involved in my own "personal" projects. I have been a software developer for many years, and am sure you have used many of the software titles that I have had a hand in over the years, but with seven children to care for, and a lot going on right now - I have decided to take a year off of work.

During that time, I will be "officially unofficial", and continue to offer high quality programs and scripts for those whom seek them. I also take request, and typically fill them very quickly. I also have a few projects that I am working on a program that my development team and I feel will really help the "noobs", and that is what we are about helping those who are new to the emulation world.

Some of the software that we are working on is a few emulators that will be more gentle to use with HyperSpin for the NES, SNES, Genesis and Sega Saturn. The alpha build of our NES launcher "dubbed HyperNES" should have an RC within the month of May (as well as several others.) I really like the way you think Griff08, and am very glad that you appreciate outside developers.

Keep on rockin' and as always, if you need anything at all - don't search for hours, contact us and we will program it up "custom-tailored" to fit your needs, free of charge!

Wow, that is really awesome Rain. And thank you so much for your help with the Winactivate (HyperTop) script that you made for me. It works like a charm. It should be an official fixture in Hyperspin; perhaps a check box in the Hyperspin HQ.

I am excited to see your webserver! 12TB Holy Crap.

I am also excited to see your HS friendly emulators :)

Your projects are over the top awesome. You the man!

Hi, Rain.
Would you mind sharing these scripts you have? (FTP for example) :P
