No-Intro is used as the naming standard for roms and media, but there doesn't appear to be a 'System' naming standard. I would like to suggest using the No-Intro system names as well.

for example:
"Atari - 5200" instead of "Atari 5200"
"Nintendo - Super Nintendo Entertainment System" instead of "Super Nintendo Entertainment System".

I know I can go and rename everything myself in my own setup, but I was hoping this could be adopted as an official Hypserspin standard.

Nah, system naming effect very few files and settings. I had a HS set up with system names like "Nintendo NES" in stead of "Nintendo Entertainment System" and so on. The only hassle is the renaming in the AHK/HyperLaunch scripting.

So I don't really see the point. And current system names seem to fit well.

I remember being tripped up when I started by the space in "Game Boy". Standardized naming could help beginners, but my selfish preference is that BBB work on bigger things.
