Whats the latest news from behind the closed Bete scene with hyperspin?

I hope that I'm not throwing a spanner in to the works by asking this question, but I hoping the Devs can summarise what has been happening behind the scenes with Hyperspin in term of up comming features and request...

The next release has a small delay due to joystick support, but I think I'll release it anyway without it instead of waiting, but the next release fixes several bugs, and adds lots of new features. Some I can think of off the top of my head are that are done:

Trackball/Spinner support
Optional Wheel Speed
Vertical Wheel positions left, center, right
Text in the wheel with lots of designing options
Alphabetical sorting of list by name or description
Clones adopt parent themes
Normal wheel is more spread out and runs faster
Can jump by letter now when spinning wheel
Swf animation support for special artworks
Can set keys in HQ now
Video bug fixed for overlay png's being in right folder
Fixed background bug
Added a few new animation styles

Theres a bunch more I cant think of.

Awesome stuff! I'm about ready to plunge for the U360's so I have a feeling the timing will be JUSTTTTT right :).

The 360's probably wont be ready on this release, it will probably be the next one after.

Yeah, and I won't be ready to order/receive them for at least another month or so, thus why the timing should be perfect. If I ever get them early, I can still use joy2key or whatever it's called anyway.

Wow, Can't wait for the release. The joystyick support future feature looks intresting. Will it be meant to support the FE only or will it also support configuring the emu's too like mame? By chance, will the next release support for Favorites? .... Please.

The next release wont have joy support or favorites, that stuff is still a work in progress. Joy support when it comes is strictly for the FE, you will have to config the joysticks for each emu individually.

Probably not anytime soon on that feature, Ive got a big list o' things to do first.
