This event was pretty fun this year, I wasnt prepared for the amount of stuff this convention had. I loved the art that was there and ended up buying quite a bit of stuff, here are a few pics of some game related things I bought.

The Street Fighter 4 area was jam packed so I didnt get a chance to play but I had a great time just watching.

Signed exclusive SF4 Poster from Yoshiniro Ono, producer. I got an extra one of these also signed but not to any particular person that will probably be a prize I will give away on this site. This would look nice framed up in your game room. The poster is actually a good size, a little bigger than your averaged sized poster.

Street Fighter Tribute Artbook (Signed), expensive and thick.

Street Fighter Eternal Challenge Book, thick book with lots of art and full detailed history of Street Fighter lots of pics including every system boxart ever, every title logo, instruction cards, etc... also a very thick book.

The best thing I got was the Udon Vinyl Banners. Udon is the company thats doing the art for SF HD Remix and pretty much does alot of Street Fighter art including the comic book series. I offered to buy the huge banners they had at their booth, they were really nice made of thick vinyl, one of Ken, one of Ryu, and one of Chun Li. They are pretty much a one off for the show so I'll be pretty much the only person that has these. Theyre taller than me. I will probably put all 3 in a row on a big wall in my game room.

I also bought Street Fighter 4 Headbands and Tshirts.

You can see some of the game related items in my album here (mostly just SF stuff):

Well if we have a theme competition, I have a couple good prizes that I think I will give out, since the posters were only 1 per person I had my girlfriend hook up the other one. Im actually gonna leave in a little bit to get it framed nice so it doesnt get ruined.

Also not in the pictures is a smaller hard stock poster of "Vega(Bison)" wanted ad. Its black and white and is really nice also. I'll probably throw in a couple of these also on the side, they were 5 bux each but I had to have em.

I went to the "How to get a job in the games industry" panel that was hosted by Capcom on Thursday (I think) of Comic-Con. Lots of interesting info in there, but basically I was told that if I really want a job in the industry I'd have to move to the west coast to be able to walk into one :(

I got to meet one of my heroes from yesteryear, Mike Mignola, and heard myself sounding like a complete dork when I told him about the Hellboy 3D project I did back in '96. Also bumped into James Callis (Baltar from Battlestar Galactica) and his wife downtown, which was pretty cool.

Overall, Comic-Con was awesome and we're looking forward to going again next year (fingers crossed).

Sorry we couldnt get together, I thought I programmed your number into my phone before I left and while I was there I realized I didnt have it. That place was a madhouse like Walmart on a Sunday afternoon.
