The 4th and final game of the Hat Trick Hero Series.

This game is a clone of Taito Power Goal.

As with all of the Hat Trick Hero series themes I have created, all of the images are from screenshots of the actual game.

I feel that there is something a miss with this theme but I just can't come up with a better idea, so suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

not bad! perhaps the background needs something different, to create a bit more contrast with the vid.

Taito power goal is the clone of this game (or the other way around).
Perhaps you could use some of the high quality art from:

I have never been happy with this theme and have decided to try something different.

Thoughts please. My skills are still virtually non-existent but thought I'd try again anyway.

Cheers.

It looks better but try using the pen tool to cut the images out instead of the magic wand. You will get much better results.

Thanks for the tip. I will have another attempt later.

I didn't know I could use the pen to do it, I ended up finishing the job off with the eraser after attacking it with the magic wand and had to try drawing parts into it where it took too much away.

I was thinking I would need to clean the image up a lot more but didn't want to spend the hours if someone had a much better idea. I would like to try more exciting with the video border too, but not sure what (or how).

Yeah - you create a nice path around the image that you can edit and when you convert it to a selection you can feather it and anti-alias it which makes for a very nice cut. See the video tutorial here:

Part 3 talks about the Pen tool which is what you want.
