Looks great, looking forward to it. Out of curiosity what is that background pic?

Looks great! I assume you are using the GoodINTV naming format? I couldn't find a No Intro dat for Intellivision. The same goes for the Atari 2600. The problem I have is that my Roms for INTV and 2600 are in GoodTools format, but I used a bulk rename utility to strip off everything in ( ) and [ ] after the game name. I really like the idea of the overlay displaying on the controller.

I was putting some default themes in the installer last night and when I got to NES I realized that the NES default theme was made wrong and it looks like your following in his footsteps by using the video graphic.
Its not your fault really but if your theme is made the same way then I would stop doing it and redo all your default themes. Heres why:
After installing the theme I noticed the video border was part of artwork1 in one big pic. This makes it so the video border is behind the video when its supposed to be over the video. This looks awful because you see the edges of the video. So what I did last night is I'm starting to redo all of amchines themes using a new video overlay that I made. Its the same overlay but I put it into artwork 3 with the video area cut out. And Im using the overlay I made from the nes main menu which is where I think he got the picture from but he modified it. So I modified it to look like his with the shadow. I can send you the pic if you want so you can adapt it to your themes. Just send me an email.
But for now please dont have the video art behind the video if possible, it just looks bad. Also with the new video border I made you can make the video full size in the screen so you can have larger viewable video area.
All this if your doing what he did.

as this one is just an early concept, the screen border is only a placeholder. Still not shure how to Integrate the video.
As there are no videos, so I have to put something like a frame to hold the snap.png.
The sets I am planning to use for intv and atari2600 are the goodsets.
Background pic is from a folder lying there on my hdd with space pics (I think this one cold be from the nasa/hubble archive.
thanks bbb for the hints and warnings I#ll send you a mail.

Well with the new overlay going into a higher artwork like 3 or 4, it will do fine with snaps. I'll try to get the improved NES default theme out to you today so you can see how I made it, why its better and how it works.
