View Full Version : Help With Led-Blinky / Mame, Cant find mame-xml.cfg or controls.ini

I’m using LedBlinky with Hyperspin & mame emulator. For some reason I cant find the following files in the mame or Ledblinky folders.
mame-xml.cfg, controls.ini, default.cfg, controls.dat
I need to know where they are located so that I can finish configuring my lights with LedBlinky. So far I have the lights working on the animation when Hyperspin Starts, Can anyone please help me? Thank you

Does anyone know if I have to download the missing files from another location? Sorry for the noob question. Thanks again

well so far the only erros I get when I exit hyperspin are these.
[06/30/2011 18:43:01] Missing value in Settings.ini: [MameControlsFile].
[06/30/2011 18:44:02] Timeout waiting for Primary Instance Handle.
[06/30/2011 18:44:02] Event Dropped [5].
[06/30/2011 18:44:09] Timeout waiting for Primary Instance Handle.
[06/30/2011 18:44:09] Event Dropped [6].
[06/30/2011 18:45:44] Timeout waiting for Primary Instance Handle.
[06/30/2011 18:45:44] Event Dropped [5].
[06/30/2011 18:45:51] Timeout waiting for Primary Instance Handle.
[06/30/2011 18:45:51] Event Dropped [6].
[06/30/2011 18:46:45] Missing value in Settings.ini: [MameControlsFile].

I know the questions that im asking are probably noob. But if anyone can tell me of any documentation that can help me I would appreciate very much. Below are pics of the arcade im trying to complete. thanks again.

Based on the error log you posted, the only missing file is controls.ini. You can download from here; http://controls.arcadecontrols.com/controls/controls_dat.php
