Hey all,

For the past month I have been developing an invaders style top down shooter and have released a small demo for you to try. The reason this came to be is because I was learning some audio implementation software but then I kind of driffted away and started making an actual game.

I used Game maker (GML) for this project since I also started learning some programe languages. This is my first game and would really appreciate any feedback positive or negative.

Latest version is 1.0.0.2 in which I added 1 new poweup and posting your score to twitter. Game also has online highscore board.

I have to say that the latest powerup (Unstoppable) will not be that fequent in later versions.

Hopefully you will enjoy this game as I enjoy making it :)

There are 16 levels in Stage 1 plus one boss fight. I also started working on Stage 2.

Dude. Game looks super fun! I would add it to my cab in a heartbeat. I have a wheel that is just independent games like this one. Let me know when your done!

Awesome job!

Nicely done. As far as feedback, I'd prefer some scrolling backgrounds and different shaped enemies that denote certain difficulties.

(P.S. - Lose the Game Maker block sprite!)

Great! Have you already released or working/planning on doing a theme for this baby?

That game looks like you would have made a lot of money in the 80's. Looks good man.

You gotta develop it in Microsoft XNA if you're planning on doing that. :(

Was this game programmed using Game Maker? If so, nice job!
