Mikie - mikie(bodydump_12-06-2008)

Silly old Konami game in which you knock other students out of their chairs and collect hearts. All artwork from the flyer. Traced the logo from Mikie's jacket and made it look like neon as in the games title screen. Logo sweeps, teacher comes in from the right, video fades and Mikey eases in from the bottom. Suggestions?

Simple theme, real clean, nice choice on transitions, and thanks for not using resting animations on this one.

The TOP-3 best HS theme makers are without a doubt BadBoyBill, billpa and amchine, I'm still amazed by their artistic skills, photoshop/flash skills and the quality of their HS themes, I just wish that we could clone them =) Cheers

Greetings again, thanks EvilDindon for the explanation, now it feels much better =)but I'm still thankful to be on the user-based theme makers list along with bodydump and retroborg.

bodydumb: I wish that I had your PS image-tracing skills, you did an excellent job on the Caveman Ninja theme, the original arcade flyer/control panel for that game was in a really bad lo-res shape. To tell you the truth I tried to trace that image and title logo last year for another "I won't name it here" frontend and the end result turned out very bad. The same goes for EvilDindon's Trojan theme, the re-done traced arwork looks smooth, clean and hi-res when compared to the original source used.

PS. I haven't been any fan of this "crazy" game but I must admit that lately I've been adding many "silly" games to my cab just because they have a excellent HS-theme =) and I'm sure that many others are doing this as well. "Mikie is definitely in contention for the most bizarre game ever made. Some high school kid gets ants in his pants, and decides to bump his classmates out of their seats using his ass" hehe =) Cheers

Try taking off the outer bevel and add a outer glow of the same color as the shape. That should give it more of a neon look. Looks great though!
