That last one dwjukebox looks real cool, especially since they admit its recommended to use in a mamecab so they thought to be able to operate from a control panel in mind.

dwjukebox: I'm a big fan of Chris. Back when all he had was a DOS version, I helped beta test it to work better on Win98. Chris is also the author of one of the better Visual Pinball original tables: Fight Night. Check it out if you've never tried it, plays great, lots of fun!

For movie/music video playback:
Media Player Classic. Haven't tried VideoLAN, don't need to. Love MPC.
For jukebox music:
None of the above. SK Jukebox for me.

does dwjukebox play wma files? or just mp3 files. almost all of my music is in wma format.
nevermind... I found the answer after diggin thru the forum at dwjukebox.
so, no, it doesn't support wma. guess i'll have to look elsewhere, or go thru the headache of converting all of my wma files to mp3.

for jukebox software I use Norbeat (www.norbeat.com). I dont use it on my mame cab I use it on a in-wall mounted 17" ELO touchscreen

I use SK Jukebox for the jukebox and VLC to play the movies...
