It's been awhile since I created a theme. Figured I would do one today while I wasn't too busy. I'm planning on doing a custom SWF animation with the spaceships busting up the asteroids. Definitely open to suggestions.

Bust up those asteroids, I'd love to see it. Maybe toss in a company logo.. dunno... looks good to me.

Yeah you should add an Atari logo somewhere (in the lower left side for example ?)

you guys and your company logos. If I see another Capcom logo in a theme, I am going to :shot: I suppose I can put an Atari logo in...I mean..it is Atari....geez :reddy:

I like to see manufacturer logos in themes...

I think it"s an important information. And i like uniformity in themes (mot of them include the compny logo)

Anyway, your theme is nice like that, and don't feel forced to put a logo if you dont want to.

billpa, looking good! This is another theme I had just sitting on the back burner, but just never got around to it. Been too busy with work and family lately. Maybe do a swf with the ships blasting away at the game title or Atari logo? Just a silly thought.

I agree.... I like the company logo involved. However, I don't like the way the Capcoms seem to predominately bounce up into your face, then rest back down.

Actually the whole Capcom comment was a shot at BBB...I am just joking around ED ;) But I will have to disagree when you say most themes include manufacturer logos...because they don't. I like uniformity too...just not 100% or else everything starts to look the same. And usually I try to keep that lower left hand area clean for the game/year/manufact. data

I love manuafturer logos alot. I wish more themes had em in some way, its better than reading the manufaturer as text, it gives them more color, it gives them an official feel, it gives credit to the company, it shows who made the game in a funner way, lots of reasons.

I love this theme, the colors looks so 80s hi-tech retro =), I definitely agree with BBB, the manufacturer logo is what we all saw on the original cab/marquee/side-arts/control-panel etc. and it just doesn't feel the same without it. For the sake of nostalgia I've edited most of the themes on my system that were missing a logo and added one. I've noticed that some themes lacked a logo due to the limited artwork slots, but I don't see why the logo couldn't be merged with the background instead of completely skipping it in those cases. It's a sin to create a CAPCOM fighting game theme and leaving the logo out =) Cheers
