Hi scores in themes?

Not entirely sure how worthwhile this idea is, given the amount of work that's probably involved, but here goes anyway. How about the ability when creating a theme to incorporate the hi scores as a part of the theme. For example, someone might create a billboard for the background, and that could show the hi scores, maybe 5 scores at a time.

Things such as font, formatting of the scores, number of scores displayed, location of scores, effects on the text (fading, hovering, etc) could all be allowed.

Now that I have this up and running; I must say that this is pretty cool. More options such as listing more scores instead of one at a time and more robust location controls would be welcome. I don't think having the options incorporated into actual theme.xml would be that difficult and might be something else cool to have in themes.
