With the new version of Hyperspin out, it seems to be a great time to offer those of us that fell behind an opportunity to download all the available themes in one download. With the flurry of themes that have been created the past month(s); it would be great to have an opportunity to "catch up" with periodic full downloads of all themes rather than having to download each one individually. Is this possible? Does anyone have a full download available?

You could always show support and donate to access the FTP where all available themes are available. The project is supported by the FTP and only off donations. I wouldn't say anything really if someone shared everything back out but just letting you know that is what helps pay for this site, etc...

Please us the ftp option. I'd hate that development stops due to lack of funds, as ppl share all themes instead of donating and get ftp access.:-)

Hyperspin is well worth the smal donation needed!:dancing2:

Agree... HS is better than ever with the new version, show your support to help further its growth. I plan on upping my membership to Gold shortly. The 8.0 has shown a lot of improvements and has even directly addressed some of my personal requests!

I guess what I meant was the ability to download all the themes as one file. Since there is getting to be many themes and to keep track of the ones that you have or don't have; it would be nice to download a file containing all themes at once and have it updated every once in a while rather than individually downloading each file. The file could be labeled by date so that you know you have all the themes created up to a certain date. It was great to have the fullsetup with themes, etc. available by download with a date of 8-14-08. It would be nice to have the same thing for the new version.

I think this is a good idea also. If you use the ftp right now do you have to download each theme individually or are they a single file?

By the way I'm broke right now but after xmas I'll be kickin in a little more than the 25.00 for ftp access-well worth it to keep this awesome FE going.

If youve never used FTP before, its really easy , the files are seperate but its just like using explorer, an FTP program will show your computer on the left and the server on the right. You can highlight as many files (all) as you want on the server and simply drag everything over to a folder on your computer. So really its just as easy as if it were one file. It doesnt have to be one big file to be easy, if youve ever copied more than one file from one drive to another on your computer then its the same thing.

I've used the ftp (I'm not real quick with computers) and it is very easy and quick. I did notice though, that there are no nintendo themes or other platforms. The only ones on the ftp are Mame, Daphne and Sega 2. If you go to the download section there are more themes than just these three platforms. Any reason those aren't on the ftp?

Were not really trying to manage console themes to much, our purpose there is to supply mame themes and default console themes.. i.e all the official boxart and wheel sets etc.. because it is my belief that its the best way to have the cleanest setup and not use console themes due to the lack of artwork etc... Though people here might want those themes, there are so few that it might just be better to get them from the downloads area if they really want to use them.
