Hey guys!
I was just curious if it were possible to point a wheel path to another system's wheel path. Say for example I have Cave Games setup but since this uses Mame I would like to use Mame's wheels instead of copying over the wheels to my Cave folder to save space. If that makes since?

as i remember hs is hardcoded - but you can reconfigure mame and keep all in hs dir
Not possible with HS1 and probably won't be for HS2. Just copy the wheels to the new dir. Artwork doesn't use a lot of space, so this isn't a big deal.

Thanks for replying! Are you saying I could use the wheels etc.. in Mame's dir without copying or?

You could probably do that with a virtual folder redirect, but that requires Group Policy edits and to be frank...it's not worth the hassle.

nothing, just a soft link to directory
can't believe ms didn't find out about soft links by now

no you can't put wheel images in mame dir and use it in HS - i think i was clear
but you can configure mame to use it from hyperspin dir, so you'll have only one place for updating
