Its not a virus, its a script for launching games, scripts are popular for making malicious software so your virus scanner sees this as bad since its a script. I wouldnt lose sleep over it.
Holy shit... My credit card number was posted online because of HyperLaunch.exe!
Seriously though, Avira is reporting mine as good. Sounds like it is just a false negative by your scanner. I have never heard of that scanner before though, so I don't know anything about it.

Wouldn't surprise me though that as HS gains popularity, people start taking advantage of inexperienced torrent users. I have seen all kinds of unlikely named programs take on the hidden form of a virus or trojan. Bastiges should be lined up and forced to watch that Hanna Montana show until they die from overexposure to the terribly used and over abused laugh track.

By looking at the picture, we can see the legend of "Free to cleanup" and "License required to cleanup." This is possibly one of those damn programs that claims you have viruses to get you to pay to "remove" them. Had a coworker at work do this once, older guy, believed the web browser pop-up when it told him he had viruses and better download the software to get rid of them... :)

I personally think Avira (free) is much better than any of the scanners that you can purchase.

lol, license required to delete hyperlaunch, you can just pay me instead. As long as you downloaded from a trusted source which is through this site, I can vouch that its not a virus.

I downloaded HS via the torrent and again via the direct link from this site, and AVG see's 'Trojan- dropper' in both files on the HS executables. I thought maybe the torrent was tainted, so I tried the direct DL. Same issue with both.

well the "issue" is with the AV program giving false-positives.
if you downloaded it from this site just add it to the exceptions list and play some games!

If you downloaded a HS torrent then you fully deserve whatever viruses it gives you. We can't say that the torrent files are clean.
However, if you download from this site directly then all is well. We've tested the files and AVG is returning a false positive.

This is probably because of UPX compression being used on the resulting executable...try compiling the script without compression and see if you get a false positive then.
The same bullshit happens with AutoIt...however I thought all this crap was sorted out 5 years ago...my best guess is that they hired a new dumbass who didn't confer with the old dogs.
