Jungle King - junglek(scrapple_08-01-08)

Threw together a Jungle King Theme (jungle hunt is the same basically).
Id really like to get my tarzan guy doing a cooler animation, but its fine for now (arc grow would be cool if he went flying by the screen).

Check it out, give me your thoughts.

ooops, forgot the logo... argh... need more coffee!!!
the video is good, i just used a default video and threw it in there to get the look right, so when someone gets a vid for this game ready, it will be in the right spot

Ok, I updated it with a Big Logo, removed the jungle beat music, and got the video made using FRAPS and a swf converter... Gonna reupload to the theme section now...I uploaded the video to emumovies in the scrapple directory.. here is the new preview image...

How do we manage the version changes to themes?

I downloaded this theme earlier, now it is updated. I'm guessing the theme management features are coming later, but is there anyway now to tell if the themes I downloaded have changed?

This one is a classic example of this. How do we keep this stuff straight? At what point is a theme "frozen"?

They will probably never be frozen, the best you can do for now is go to the download section and sort by date by clicking the date column. So its a good idea to know when the last time you upgraded themes was.

plus your themes are labeled by data (SCRAPPLE_08-01-08)
if you see a newer date, have at it.....
another thing to do would be to hit the edit button on the downloads page of your theme, and you can post a note in the description box

Well the date thing in the theme description is not working yet. Two examples are when a theme is released at the start of a day then updated later in the day as was the case with Jungle King and some others. Both would be 08-01-08, for example.

The other example is Simpsons and Crystal Castles. The "Date" of the theme did not change, but as BBB explained the file modification date you can sort by in the d/l section did change, so you can tell that way.

It can all be figured out. I'm just pointing out this could get confusing and out of control in the future, and someone a whole lot more anal than I am could complain a whole lot more loudly than I am.
