Sexy Parodius - sexyparo(manipars 12-23-2008) WIP

Greetings! The artwork available for this jap-only game is very limited; I think that I'll do the themes for Parodius DA! and "Parodius Gokujyou" first because they are much easier to do and save this one for last after the holidays. This is just another test mockup and I'm planning to completely change the look/feel/artwork for this game at a later point and make it look less "crappy" and also "less sexy" since we have kids in this household that also use the mamecab =). Nah but with all kidding aside this is just a test starting point. Cheers

Thanks for the replies; you're right about the rip-open effect obsession but I'll not overuse it =]. I agree with Visitor Q about the lady.. Mmmm.. hehe but the sexy lady in the preview was just a joke =) I will of course use the correct artwork and skip the rip open borders for the next proper preview or final layout. Cheers

mrclean :Excellent list you've got there, many quality games. GHOX is definitely my all time favorite game in the Breakout Genre, an excellent Toaplan game, it's a shame that it lacks sound in Mame, the Z180 has been missing an internal rom dump since ages now =[

yeah manipars i really do wish ghox had sound in MAME, if this PCB were available for purchase and sent to the guru or whatever would we get sound for this game in MAME or is it encrypted in some way that can't be dumped etc... Most of the themes that are on my list are "spinner" games because there aren't that many in MAME to begin with and HYPERSPIN should have more especially for those who have "spinners" on their cabs!
