Like everyone here I love hyperspin! And one of the things we love is the ability to make it custom. Here's a little tool I whipped up that you can use to make custom dat files for clearmamepro (if you don't want to use the ones from HyperList). It lets you use filters to remove a large number of roms (like betas) and detects any potential duplicates for individual removal.

How does it work:
1. Add filters to the filters.ini file to remove roms you don't want. For example, when working with dats from no-intro, you may not want the prototype roms. In the filter file, place '(Proto)' and any roms that contain that in title will be unchecked. You can selectively turn on and off filters in the program too.
2. Open any dat file you like, like ones from no-intro for instance
3. The interface will show roms that will be removed in red, and any roms that have duplicates detected in blue.
4. Uncheck/Check any roms you want, like removing one of the duplicates for instance.
5. Click save to output your new dat file

Note: You need .net installed for this program to work

Where can you get DAT files that support 1G1R? I haven't been able to get one that enables that option.

Nevermind, I found that you have to download the Parent-Clone DAT files.
