Just thinking it would be cool to have on screen "shootable" buttons to select a game. I'm thinking of making an all light gun game cabinet and i'd like to keep the controls simple..just like up and down arrows you can shoot to scroll through the wheel and shoot the wheel image to select the sub mennu or game

I like the sound of that.... I hope to one day make a light gun game cabinet and would love to be able to choose games in that manner (if it doesn't already exist).

If you use Aimtrak, it is considered a mouse. You can easily have the trigger (a mouse button/click) be remapped to send enter to select your game. If Hyperspin doesn't allow a mouse button to select your game, you would have to use another method to remap the mouse button to send enter instead (ahk, xpadder, joy2key, etc).

But I think what he's asking for is an actual onscreen hitbox to navigate the wheel and afaik HS doesn't have mouse mapping at all

Technically though, he could enable trackball control in Hyperq and actually flinging the aimtrak guns up or down would be able to scroll through wheels :laugh:, but you would still need an ahk running in the background to convert your mouse button trigger press into another key to select a game though and another for escaping a game too.
