Nice! Maybe someone can get it working with Hyperspin? :D

I've already got it working on mine. There's nothing special you need to do for it as it fully supports scaling properly up to 1080p. :)
Yeah, I would download it now before Nintendo starts howling to remove it! Great game!

If I come across an interesting shockwave game I usually save it to my comp and there are a couple things I've noticed:
1. Some games have scripts in them that pull ads or other things from websites and they won't play without being able to do this. What you can do is go to this URL here (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html) and add the folder you keep the swf files in to the trusted files at the bottom.
2. Some games have scripts in them that detect whether or not you are running the file from a website. If you try to run them from your HDD they give a message saying something like "Go to this site to play." As far as I know you can't get past this unless you decompile and remove the script.
Also, here are some of the Shockwave games I've found interesting:
Avoider (http://www.onemorelevel.com/games/avoider.html)
Bullet Audyssey (http://www.kongregate.com/games/Rete/bullet-audyssey)
Cat God vs Sun King (http://www.andkon.com/arcade/missiledefender/catgodvssunking/)
Cursor*10 (http://www.nekogames.jp/mt/2008/01/cursor10.html)
Dragon Age Legends - Remix (http://www.ign.com/free2play/)
Epic War 5 (http://www.kongregate.com/games/rudy_sudarto/epic-war-5)
Gap Monsters (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/575508)

Hoshi Saga (http://hoshisaga.jp)
The King's League (http://armorgames.com/play/12310/the-kings-league)

Mega Mash (http://www.nitrome.com/games/megamash/)

Rokko Chan is also very interesting, but no one's figured out how to make the swf work yet.

Rokko Chan is also very interesting, but no one's figured out how to make the swf work yet.Rokko Chan has a script in it that detects if you're playing it through a website. If you try to start it up from your HDD it opens a browser window to king-soukutu.com.
One of these days I'm going to get a decompiler and try my hand at getting them to work.
Side note about Rokko Chan: There's an artbook and soundtrack out there if you look. I won't post links to the rips, but here's the official flash version of the book http://king-soukutu.xsrv.jp/rokkobook.html

I've looked and haven't found any way to download Rokko Chan to my computer. I've also tried doing it myself and got as far as disabling the redirect (if you download and run the game as is it just sends you to his website), but it looks like he did lots of tricky things to keep people from playing it offline. :)
Without a better knowledge of actionscript I'm stuck.

I downloaded the SWF file using Orbit Downloader's Grab++.
I then ran it in Adobe Flash Player by double-clicking the SWF since I have it installed already. It prompted me saying it was denying a potentially unsafe operation (the game attempting to connect to Rokko Chan's website). I clicked OK, maximized the window, and played away. No problems.

Are you sure you were playing an offline version and not just connecting to the website? I used Orbit too and it didn't find all the pieces of Rokko Chan that are needed to make it run. There are 5 files that the game uses (that I know of) as well as the URL redirect which stops the game if you're not playing it through his domain as well as a number of other security checks.

I am 100% positive that I am playing offline using ONLY the SWF.

EDIT: Also I keep reading here about redirects and browser windows opening. I'm not getting any of that either. It's just the game running.

Lailoken was talking about Rokko Chan and not Abobo's, Rokko is the one that needs to be hacked.
I know someone that could probably pull this off, but haven't heard from him since quite a while.

When I decompiled Rokko Chan, I saw that there's all sorts of security shit, passing keys and so on. Why people insist on this sort of thing instead of keeping it open and letting it live on beyond the life of your website is beyond me.

Maybe traffic to their website generates revenue? There's a thought. :D

^this. The problem isn't so much people downloading the game to play it on their computer as much as people ripping off the game and putting it on their own site and/or claiming that it's their own game.
I've seen lots of games that pop up messages saying "Looks like this site tried to steal my game. Play the real version here: <url>"
