View Full Version : Animated Background in others file format, flv,mp4 or "swf without Action Acript 3"
I would like to know if the new version of Hyperspin, (2.0) the animated background themes accept files from other formats instead of SWF in AS3 only? Below, are two examples of themes that I modified with great difficulty because of action script 3 dependence.

Not sure what you mean by actionscript 3, backgrounds do not need actionsript for animations. Just a standard swf frame by frame animation is your best bet.

the only other animation types that would make sense (to me) would be the same format that the transitions use, or apng. But as there's not a lot of good toolsets (afaik) to make animated PNGs like there are for swfs flash is better.
