There's been a lot of themes posted and I have to admit they all look great. Looking forward to trying them out and of course, a big thanks to you billpa for working your butt off to get these done.

No problem...I like doing it when I have the time and its slow at work this week. Dont expect me to continue at this pace. Plus, I did a lot of design beforehand...even some of the default themes I designed but had BBB animate them since I didnt have the means to do it at the time. Now that I have Boot Camp installed on one of my Macs at work, I can actually put together themes which is great. Hopefully we will get some more theme creators come Aug. 6th. We need them! :D

Sorry if this was asked already, but from start to end, how long does it take you to create one theme? I wanna know so I can figure out how long the community needs to chain you to your computer desk to complete the other 2000 odd titles we'd want to have done asap :D

thats a good question. I dont really know. It takes awhile I suppose considering you are cutting out each layer. I will be doing a tutorial soon...either video or text with screenshots. I am waiting to see what HyperTheme does because it should make it easier to put everything together.
If I already have some good artwork, I can get one done in about a half hour. But some of them take more time (like Sunset Riders) because I bringvector art into Flash and animate that.
Once you get the hang of cutting an image out (it will take you some time to get good at it) and then get the hang of putting it together (its manual right now...will see what HT can do) and coding it...it should take you around a half hour to an hour.
I think the greatest thing about making themes is that everyone is going to make themes of games they enjoy to play. Whats cool about that is people play games they might have never hear of or played before.
