I am running into a few issues configuring emulators and was wondering if maybe I am going about my setup wrong. Currnetly I have the Emualtors on one drive and the roms on another but thinking about it, maybe it would be better to have the program and the roms all on the same drive.

How do you guys run your setup?

I have a folder called emulation on my C: drive.
Inside that I have subfolders for all console systems by name
In those folders I have emus/roms/snaps/video/manuals/ etc...

That way its easy to read and maintain

So you have the emualtor programs and roms all stored on the same drive?

I was trying to make it so the emualtors where on one drive and the roms on another all in sub dirs of course, but maybe that is not the best idea?

When I install HyperSpin am I going to want that installed on the same drive as all the emualtors or isn't that going to matter much?

It really doesnt matter much.. Its all person prefance. The only time you come into issue is accessing from a network share.

Well I'll tell you this much, Vista Sucks!

I am about two seconds away from installing XP. I can't get Daphne to load any roms, this OS is a failure.

I fixed that, you must run it in full screen for it to work.

Man this OS is a PITA!

its not a ton worse than xp in my opinion. They are both crap. One thing you can also do is right click the emulator exe's and choose to turn off compositing I think its called.

I wouldn't give up on it yet. Just wait til you try the media center part. The music interface is nice

Yeah... I am going to stick it out a little longer. I get pissed but I need to get a handle on this OS in general.

I see what you are talking about though.
