Hi, i just finish my first theme.
I'll wait for your opinions.
Not bad at all for a first theme! The graphics look nice and clean, the background is a little busy, but still looks good. The only thing I see that could use improvement would be that the logo is a little small. Don't be afraid to overlap layers!

Not bad! Get that logo out there though, it's too small.

Looks great! I agree with the other comments. Logo needs to be bigger. I always start big when I show people stuff because its alot easier to go smaller than to go back and go bigger (hopefully you saved a cut out of the original logo before you scaled it down)
The background is a little busy. I think if you just brought the opacity down a little bit (showing the gradient more) then it would be perfect. If the background is a flat layer, you could just drop a black layer behind it and then bring down the opacity of the background.
The one thing I have noticed after creating the Dungeons and Dragons theme is that you want to try and keep your backgrounds on the simple side for two reasons.
1. It tends to look cleaner.
2. It saves a lot on file space! For D&D the background image was larger in file size than all the other layers combined. This is due to it being an entire 1024x768 image AND having all sorts of shading and colors. I had to bring it down to indexed color so the theme wasn't too large. Just a word to everyone out there. Some people are creating themes over 5MB large. This is too big IMO. Try to keep them 1 - 2 MB max (that is without the video file)
Backgrounds dont have to be solid colors though. There are ways of making them cool without being overly complicated...like gradients, patterns, etc.
Overall, great work! I cannot wait to see some more of your themes!

Hi,
thanks for your answers, i replaced the logo with a bigger one, and for the background i think too that it's a little busy so i applied a sort of sepia filter.
I wait for your replies.

Alot better! I like it... You should upload it.
Remember not to include the video.
This will keep the D/L small.
