I've Put together a full US/EU Sega CD database. Since No-Intro doesn't support disc systems I went with the TOSEC naming convention just for consistency.

IF you peek at the xml you will see that some games don't have a crc - those are the games with no known good dump. IF a game had a good dump in EU but not in US I used the EU name (only happened like 3 times). I think that's about it, but this is a FULL tosec set.

Dats and cuesheets available at toseciso.org

sorry the xml is 47kb, so I can't add it as an attachment here. I've rapidshared it (hopefully a mod is one of the first to dl and can attach it for me ;) )

SophT: I'll have this added to Hyperion within the next 24 hours. I intend on doing the TOSEC naming convention for disc-based consoles. :)

Dreamcast is almost done as well.

Great work! :)

Just an update... I've had a chance to thoroughly study your XML file. Please keep in mind that within the name = "" section, it's invalid to use "&".

XML gives major problems with such a thing, so "&" should be used. Same with apostrophes, which should be replaced with "'"

I've taken the liberty of correcting this in the file (Yay for search & replace!) and parsed it. It is now active on Hyperion and should be able to have lists generated shortly. You should see it appear in the menu on the right when it can be generated... in about 5-10 minutes of this post. :)

[edit]
Sega CD is now in Hyperion thanks to SophT! Feel free to generate a list based upon the TOSEC File naming structure. :)

wups, thanks for the heads up on the XML. and thanks for posting it on hyperion.

as for *removed* I've already been over there a while ;). What I mean is that I can't find any TOSEC dats on the actual tosec.org or toseciso.org site...

Check out the DAT Pack zip file on the toseciso.org page :)

SophT: If you want to help get things organized / updated, I can give you access to the ROM Management tool of Hyperion. :)

Of course, I stick to HyperSpin's rules for ROM's. No prototypes, no betas, no Japanese games, no Euro version if there is a US version, etc. Excluding MAME / Model 2.

Private message me if interested.
