If someone is wondering "What is a Taito Type X² game doing here? They are not (yet) emulated.", then you have to know that before making his arcade debut, Trouble Witches is a PC Game.
It is missing the two characters added for the arcade version of course, but it remains a good game.

Official website: http://trouble_witches.mails.ne.jp/index.htm

Trouble Witches is an Horizontal Shoot'em'up developed by Studio Siesta.
It is played with four buttons: Fire, Magic Circle, Select Magic Card, Use Magic Card.
Magic Cards are one-use-only and can be purchased in shops that appear ingame, using coins collected killing enemies.

An english manual is available from the official website: http://trouble_witches.mails.ne.jp/tw_eng.htm
A demo is available: http://www.mails.ne.jp/~studio_siesta/download/TroubleWitchesTrial080706_Setup.msi
The game can be purchased from Himeyashop.com for 26$ plus shipping: http://www.himeyashop.com/product_info.php/products_id/7957
A patch for the game (for the full version) is available wich makes it better overall: http://www.mails.ne.jp/~studio_siesta/download/tw_patch_113.exe

------------------------- Theme Announcement ---------------------------

So I have been working on a theme for this game in the past days.
Many souls were devoured in the process.
The game title is made from scratch, and inspired by the arcade title ( http://members3.jcom.home.ne.jp/studio-siesta/twac_aou2009.htm ).

The background and the borders were made from scratch too, inspired by the art on the official website. The video overlay was made from scratch, like the one on the official game posters.
The characters were extracted from existing art.
The studio siesta logo is just converted from a gif in the official website because by then I couldn't care anymore. :D

This is the result:

Thanks BadBoyBill.
Beware, it is not made BY Taito, it merely runs on "their" cabs.
It is developed by Studio Siesta, it is an independent software house specialized in shoot'em'ups. They made other 5 games, of which 4 are a series and one unrelated.

How do you like the game, it looks nice from the screens?

It is fun.
The graphics and musics are good, and the hard and hardest modes are challenging (with the patch 1.13 that transforms the game in "Version 2"). Some of the NPC voices can be annoying, thank god the cutscenes are very short and apart.

The addition of purchasable powers is...interesting. The cards have unique effects, and are one-use-only, once used you have to purchase another one. Those are the "bombs", in short.
The secondary attack is a magic circle, which size is determined by how long the button is pressed, that appears around the character's pet. It slows down bullets, and if the enemy who launched them is killed, the slowed bullets are converted in coins.

I cannot give more tips as I am not an expert at it.

I recommend trying the game before a purchase.
Even if it costs less than 50$ shipped I don't know if you may like it enough, what kind of games do you enjoy?

The theme is ready for upload:

I have removed the white oultine, and it looks better to me.
Also, centered the screen and removed a little "bug".
