Here you will find a collection of video tutorials that I created specifically for people that would like to know the basics of Photoshop. I have tried to break down each tool into its own tutorial so each one does not run too long. Sometime soon I will be recording a 3 part video tutorial on creating a theme. That will most likely have its own thread and I will keep this one just for Photshop tutorials.
I hope these tutorials help people out. If you have any suggestions for a tutorial, or would like to create a tutorial to help out the community, please PM me. And if you would like to check out the entire collection of video tutorials, please visit our Vimeo page by clicking here. (http://www.vimeo.com/user590640/videos)

"This isn't me or anyone I know" haha
Great tutorials man. I'm working on my first theme right now and as a novice GIMPer this really helped me out. Focuses on the specific tools that are actually needed for our task at hand.

Nice tutorials. Easy to follow and great for someone looking to fill in those miss jap wheels. I've done a few on my own but they look pretty trashy compared to the official ones so I may give it another go with a few of these tips I didn't try.

Thank you for these tutorials! Very helpful ..as I am completely new to creating themes, so far mine are still a bit rough. Hopefully with some time and practice I will be able to contribute.

Very easy to follow and very simple. Thank you for the tutorials. Since this point, I've done all my themes in GIMP. I think it's about time I learned Photoshop. Thanks again!
Thanks for the tutorials, now I have a great starting point to get into the graphical design of things instead of just programming. Plus, now I finally have a use for that Adobe Photoshop CS5 suite my wife bought me a few months ago! Good Job!

For some reason, removing white matte is not working for me. Do I need to have the cutout selected while doing it? I am very new to Photoshop.
