Well i took a break from the snes wheels and did this MAME Theme i wasn't a big fan of the default theme so i did this one up.

I really like that background.

You know what would be a cool feature, though timing may be difficult... have the marquee swap to match whichever video is playing.

I, personally, would like to see a version of the background that says "Arcade" instead of MAME, since when I have everyone over they have no idea what MAME is. Otherwise I would definitely use it.

Yah i was thinking the same thing, none of my friends have no idea what mame is, i'll do one up with a arcade logo

It would be cool if there was a mame font or something. That way the people who know mame will recognize the font and others will see "Arcade" or something like that.

I have not found any such font myself.

It might be cool to use a recognizable font from an arcade game, like Pac-Man or Donkey Kong or Galaga. Or put them all together like a ransom note.

I like the arcade marquee. But you have to give props to the emulator that makes it all possible. Maybe stick the MAME logo somewhere off the the side. Maybe hidden along the side. Just a thought.

shouldn't be a problem just put the mp3 in the background music of the sound folder in the main menu folder.
make sure u name it mame tho

It's funny you should post this I started creating a post here a couple of days ago saying pretty much the same thing but decided to scrap mine because it came across a bit An*l(yours is fine though), of course the other reason for not having it say MAME is consistency, everything else listed on the wheel was/is a system, MAME as we all know is an emulator. I changed the MAME banner a while ago on mine for these very reasons.
