A little off topic but...
Anyone like horror movies? =]
Jason
Every Halloween for the past 12 years I have done haunted house reviews for the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In doing so I have got to meet some of the best horror movie actors and even a couple directors at many industry events. So, in other words.... I love horror movies.

Any movie with zombies in it I will sit down and watch for sure guaranteed.

I love 'em, but my wife doesn't, so they don't get played too often when she's in the mood to watch a movie. Not a huge fan of the slasher type, nor especially the new torture porm horrors of recent times.

the loafer that is my problem I like horror(not the slasher type either really) but the gf doesn't like them and says they give her nightmares so we can't watch them. She will generally watch zombie movies though weirdly enough(at least the more mainstream ones like resident evil and such).

Used to like them when i was younger, but only when they could make me laugh a little. I remember Critters, and one about clowns.

It's hard for me to do a top ten but I will say there are a few that were beyond excellent
Must watch (in no order)
Inside (great french horror flick relatively new)
Amityville Horror (something about the whole late 70's early 80's horror feel to it)
Phantasim (dido)
Motel Hell (just a damn entertaining movie!)
Wilderness (English movie, highly entertaining)
And then there are the real classics..
Dawn of the Dead
Night of the Dead
Halloween
The Shining
Christine
The Omen
Jaws
I liked
Hard Candy (not scary though)
P2
Sickhouse
High Tension
Pumpkin Head
Silent Night Deadly Night
Dead Pit
Feast (entertainment value)

Saw "The Car" in a double bill at the drive-in with my dad, I think the other film was either "Wolfen" or "The hand" (early Michael Cain vehicle). Both of those are quality films and yeah, I liked "The Car" too.
Captain Flint: Tell me you just forgot to include "The Exorcist"? :)

Hmmm. I was hoping no one would catch that one... lol... Yeah I think The Exorcist is a great movie, just not one of my faves. I think I may have seen it too many times or something...
anyway... for those who have not seen The Car, don't worry the best scenes are the ones in the trailer... the rest is seriously filler.

Motel Hell and Wilderness are both really good. If you like Wilderness try Battle Royale if you have not seen it yet. Dead Pit just came out on DVD too BTW.
Some of my favorite horror movies are...
The Beyond
Gates of Hell
Cannibal Ferox
Cannibal Holocaust
Braindead
Cemetry Man

gates of hell? Ouch, I remember the "throwing up the stomach" and the drill scenes. I guess you like your horror flicks pretty gory then?

Yep... Saw all of those, so you are an Italian zombie fan huh... I tried hard, but couldn't get over how bizare they are. I own The Beyond and Zombi... but that is about it.
Battle Royale was cool.
Liked Cemetry Man, but it dragged a bit at the end.

I love Italian Horror Movies!
Zombi is great but do yourself a favor and see Gates of Hell.
I also love good Kung Fu movies like Crippled Masters and Story of Ricky.
Have you seen movies like El Topo or Holy Mountain?
