Take this with a pinch of salt but there might be just a little too much whitespace in the centre.

See what others think.

I think its nice. I agree though that it feels a bit sparse. I think either a tiny bit more in the center and/or really even a border of some sort around the movie might be all it needs. I am thinking a border personally as I think the movies just look better with a border of some sort instead of just sitting there.

I think the logo and video are way to tiny, I notice several people lately are taking that approach and I personally am not that big of a fan of that style. You should be able to stand a few feet away from the machine and notice whats going on with the video instead of squinting to see it. What I think is to make a decent size video like some of the other themes and design your theme around that rather than the video and logo around the character art.

But other that that the characters look pretty cool and I like the background. The background could be more interesting if you made it bigger, as in the blue area were to take up maybe one fifth of the screen instead of just a little tiny area along the side.

Thanks for making a zinc theme, since we dont have one yet.

Just a heads up...I fixed the name of the thread. Make sure you go month first, then day, then year . I know you guys in Europe do day first but thats the naming convention we went with so just trying to keep it standardized. Theme is looking good!

I was thinking that you could resize the dots so you could see them better, sorry if I miscommunicated that. Looks like you just moved em over, but anyways, ya I was thinking the video and logo would look good bigger, but I think you over did it just a tad, so I downloaded your files to see what you were working with.

One thing I noticed is that you have a black spot on your background for the video, not really sure why that was even there? I know on some FE's you need to do that kind of stuff to give a video border effect, but you dont need to here because we provide a layer on the video to allow for that look.

I know zinc doesnt have to much of a logo but they do have a small one on their site which I redid, not really sure where you came up with that logo other than just making it up, but it doesnt really look like their logo.

Just messing with it real quick, I did up a small sample of what I thought your idea for the theme could look like following what you were doing.

Dont mind the character, I just grabbed a quick tekken char because on your first screenshot you put up, I though your tekken character looked good. If you want any files for your theme like the logo, let me know.

MoANImloT, any progress on the Zinc Menu? I just hate to see that blank Zinc menu pop up as I spin through the systems, and I've been keeping an eye on this particular thread hoping for a release. :hmmmm2:

Im also looking to use a zinc theme soon , i noticed that on emumovies the movies are only in AVI so i take it ill have to convert them to FLV also is there any game themes out there for zinc or will i have to rob them from my "Dazz Minted Theme Sets"
