It's my first theme so be gentle folks. Any suggestions to help me improve the theme?

Bigger video and bigger logo.
Ifthe logo is the same as the wheel image you may want to use another graphic or lay it out diffrently.
Great first theme.

Great go around for your first time! I would bump the characters down a bit so you dont see them ending (like it is right now) and I would probably bump them to the right a little bit so they bleed off the edge. Get the logo bigger...if you can find a horizontal version, that might balance out the design a little more. Video is a pretty good size...could be bigger but not much.
Good work!

I was also working on a theme for MSHVSF. I hope it is ok to post my screenshot in here as well. I did not want to start a new thread since one already exists. This is also one of my first themes.

Even if you do a theme that always exists it is still a new theme, you should make a new thread. Looks nice though, although I much would rather see the official logo for the game, and I'm sure others would agree that we try to stick to official art if possible to represent a game.

I will remember that. The size of the original logo played into it. It is such a large logo. The wheel logo I did in publisher. I have a friend that is getting a copy of photoshop for me and will redo the wheel logo. Since most of this is new to me, I am figuring it out as I go. Had some issue with the artwork not wanting to rotate and had to modify the xml to get it to work (no rotate field in the xml). I will see if I can find a good logo for it, or I will try to modify the ones I have to look like the original.

I'ts Ok to split a logo up so that the words are side by side instead of stacked, the street fighter logo for this game is different than the one you have here but the marvel logo is close I think.

A little jumbled, try removing some of the art.

Greetings! I like the artwork and the original title-logo used in marinjem's first screenshot, it fits this theme and looks great, it just needed some minor layout improvements as mentioned above.
FatNasty: For your theme you should use a different artwork for the Marvel characters because that has already been used in the "Marvel Super Heroes" theme *(screenshot below), all themes should have a unique look to them, especially when it comes to a series of games like this one. There are lots of good artwork online for the Marvel characters, I agree that it just needs a less busy background and the original title-logo and then you can build the rest on that and improve things along the way. Keep it up. Cheers
