IT's been quite a while since I created my collection unfortunately all my SNES roms are .SMC's, no-intro dat wants them to be .SFC's. Ucon64 doesn't appear to have the option to convert to SFC. Anyone know of another tool?

I think as far as snes roms I think you can just rename them and it'll be fine. I am checking right now for you. I do know the best tool to use for snes roms is nsrt. I'm trying to find the current spot for it as the old place isn't there anymore

ok here you go

http://snesemu.black-ship.net/index.php?page=tools

the very top link has a nice gui. nsrt will audit your roms nicely. and actually you can also just take clrmamepro and the latest no-intro dat here http://www.no-intro.org/datset.htm and run your roms through clrmamepro and see if it works. If all they need is a rename then clrmamepro will do that as the crc value will still match. If they need more than a rename then nsrt will fix em up.

Thx for your help joebells to be honest I never really got to grips with NSRT although i'm guessing it would have done what I needed, in the end I did it with uCon simply by using fix header, then renaming in Romcenter.

Things are always so obvious once you know how huh?

I forgot nsrt was kind of weird. I would have fired it up and ran through it quick to give you a little tutorial but I don't run windows any more, except on the media center where I do my hyperspin and roms and such. Doesn't matter though as you got them all fixed up.
