For those of us who aren't in the beta, is there any way to check progress on this project? It looks like the last update on the site was in April talking about how the beta is closed, unless I'm not reading in the right place... Any estimated release for a public release?? This looks awesome. but if its not going to come out for 4 months I might just see if I can get gameex working again instead :-/

Or, is there anyone I could contact to become part of the beta or help design graphics? I know it says its closed, but still... I'd definitely be willing to help out if i could.

I cant put an exact date, there are many of us working diligently to bring the release as soon as possible. It definitely wouldnt be four months. All I can say is very soon. The old blog will be going down, thats what you were reading, and hasnt been updated in a while, were putting together the new home page as I write this which will be the source of all the lates HS news.

Thanks.

Andy,
Last I spoke to BadBoyBill we are about 2 weeks out... That conversation took place last week.
WE are still dialing in the new site and the way its progressing it may be ready by the end of this week. With that said Billy is still working on hypertheme and his theme tracking system.
Hyperspin itself is ready for release (In my opinion) But just yesterday me and billy spend two hours on the phone going back and forth about file naming and forum quirks... I feels like its two step forward one step back.. It really is coming soon. By all mean go ahead and get gameex going its a great fe. You wont regret it..
With that said HyperSpin is completely diffrent.. Gameex is more of a mediacenter approch.
HS is like an arcade.. Lots of graphics and theme driven VS text.

If you have skills in photoshop / flash etc then yes we are always looking or contributors. With all that is going on right now that may not be the highest prioriity.

Thanks for the post I hope this sheds some light on to whats going on.
