Looking good. Is that the original control panel? I didn't get to play too many Mortal Combat games in the arcades, so I wouldn't recognize one if I saw it. What type of monitor are you going to use?

Thanks! Actually it's not the original control panel it's a modified MK1 control panel. I'm using a 21" Gateway 2000 monitor it works very well. It's sitting on it's back (think Pac-Man and Galaga) It's kind of hard to see because of the smoke plexi :laugh:

Oh I believe this cab was once a Frogger machine. I got the cab gutted.

Ahh, I've always liked those monitors that sit way back in the cabinet. I always think of either Donkey Kong or DK Jr. Maybe both of them were like that. I'm currently converting a really old Taito Space Dungeon cabinet, and I almost thought about redoing it to the recessed monitor. I decided to leave it as is, and leave as much original logos and such on it as I can.
